Frequently asked questions
Honest answers, before you even ask
Everything patients ask us most — insurance, costs, technology, kids, nerves and emergencies.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! SMILE Dental is actively welcoming new patients of all ages in Bonita Springs. Request an appointment online or call (239) 319-2440 — most new patients are seen within the week.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major dental insurances including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Florida Combined Life, Guardian and MetLife. We'll call your provider and verify your benefits before your visit.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — through CareCredit®, you can finance 100% of treatment with no money down, no upfront costs and no prepayment penalties, on plans from $1 to over $25,000.
Where is SMILE Dental located?
Inside the Colonnade Medical Center at 9500 Bonita Beach Rd SE #301, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 — minutes from Estero, Naples and San Carlos Park. Free parking on site.
What are your office hours?
Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. For dental emergencies, call (239) 319-2440 as early in the day as possible.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí — Dr. Andisco is fluent in both English and Spanish, and the practice serves patients comfortably in either language.
What is Digital Smile Design?
An advanced technology that designs your new smile digitally around your facial features, then lets you preview the result — on screen and physically in your mouth via 3D printing — before any treatment begins.
What does S.M.I.L.E. stand for?
Simplified Minimally Invasive Lasting Esthetics — our philosophy of conservative, technology-driven dentistry that preserves healthy tooth structure and delivers results built to last.
Can you really make a crown in one day?
Yes. Our on-site CAD/CAM lab designs, mills and glazes permanent porcelain crowns while you wait — most crown visits finish in about two hours with no temporary and no second appointment.
Do you see children?
Absolutely. Dr. Andisco has years of pediatric experience, including extensive work with special-needs children, and believes positive early visits set kids up for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
I'm anxious about the dentist. Can you help?
Yes — sedation dentistry, laser-first gentle techniques, and a genuinely patient team. Tell us when you book and we'll plan your visit around your comfort.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call (239) 319-2440 right away — we reserve time for urgent patients and can often see you the same day. For a knocked-out tooth, handle it by the crown, keep it moist in milk, and call immediately.
